Modern-Classic Wardrobes in Central London

The requirement

To form a large walk-in wardrobe to this residential home in Central London. The room was relatively long and narrow T Shaped space, with no natural light. The client asked for a high-end finish which maximised the potential.

The out come

A dramatic transformation to this awkward space which met the requires of the client. The client was so pleased with the results that they requested additional cabinetry to four other rooms of the house.

How we made it

An in-depth measured survey was undertaken and a set of designs considered. CGI visualisations were formed and included mirrors where every possible to increase the sense of space and light. Each wardrobe consisted of a similar carcassing, which was formed from a high-end timber composite with patinated timber veneer finish. Each door featured a chamfered profile to the surround, with an in-set black beading to articulate the form. The mirrors were framed in the same timber finish and profile so that the entire room was encapsulated as a single space. Recessed strip lighting was provided to the underside of each unit, combined with small feature spotlights to the upper sections.
