Steam Room & Changing Area in Kent

The requirement

To create a simple collection of joinery elements including a bench for the steam room, and a combined sink and vanity unit for the changing along with additional benching.

The out come

The result was a clean, minimal aphetic of walnut and white, which reflected the remainder of the house’s interior.

How we made it

A site visit was undertaken to this Kent based residential home. The house was modern and minimal internally, and the client wanted to continue this style through to the new extension which would include the steam room and changing area. A measured survey of the room was undertaken and a set of visualisation options were create for the client’s consideration. The cabinetry was formed from high-end walnut and joined meticulously with recessed miter joints. The sink and work-top was custom made and formed around a timber template. Once complete the cabinetry was installed and lighting and plumbing connected.
